Hi, I’m Arabella!

  • I discovered my passion for storytelling during my senior year of high school through an advanced journalism class, where I wrote for Wingspan Magazine, Nixa High School’s student publication. Interviewing people and sharing their stories sparked something in me. I fell in love with the process of representing others through stories and media.

That passion led me to the Missouri School of Journalism, where I immediately felt at home. I knew it was the ideal place to refine both my craft and my purpose.

Most importantly, my faith has been the foundation for everything. I live at the Christian Campus House at the University of Missouri (Mizzou), where I serve on the media team. I believe storytelling is at its best when it reflects truth, beauty, and purpose. For me, that means capturing God’s love in tangible, creative ways.

  • Since arriving at Mizzou, I’ve sought out every opportunity to grow as a journalist and media producer. I began writing for The Maneater, the student news publication, where I expanded my skills beyond writing to include video and audio storytelling.

As a photo volunteer for the Columbia Missourian, I gained real-world experience in photojournalism and reporting. These roles gave me a solid foundation that led to my position as a multimedia producer at Vox Magazine. After consistently producing high-quality work, I was promoted to Multimedia Editor, where I now lead a team of student journalists in creating visual and digital content.

In addition to student media, I serve on the media team at the Christian Campus House and my church, where I combine my technical skills with my faith to produce videos, photography, and other content that supports ministry and encourages spiritual growth within the community.

Building on that experience, I began an internship with Real Life Church the summer of 2025, where I worked at the intersection of social media and spiritual development. I used photography and videography to tell meaningful stories, engage the church community, and support the church’s mission. This role deepened both my creative abilities and my heart for media ministry, further confirming my desire to use my gifts to glorify Christ through storytelling.

  • I approach each project with curiosity, clarity, and purpose. Whether I’m filming, photographing, or editing, I start by listening.

My process is hands-on and detail-oriented. I combine technical skill with creative thinking to produce high-quality visual content.

I also take on freelance projects and enjoy collaborating with others. If you’re looking for photo, video, or multimedia work, feel free to reach out through my contact page.

My goal is to use my skills with excellence and intention in every project I take on.
